Brainiac Chess
Brainiac Chess Academy, established in 2023 offers a focused, interactive learning experience with small batch sizes and expert FIDE-rated coaches. Our curriculum includes live class recordings, regular performance analysis, and interactive lessons. Each session features homework, doubt-solving, and frequent progress checks, with tests every three sessions to solidify understanding. Weekly tournaments and feedback sessions foster growth in a fun, inclusive environment, while interactive support ensures a seamless experience. Upon completion, students receive a certificate, celebrating their progress and dedication to the game. At Brainiac, we’re committed to building skill, confidence, and a lifelong passion for chess.
Our Founder
With over 20 years of chess-playing experience and an international FIDE rating, I bring a wealth of expertise and passion to the world of chess. My coaching journey spans more than 9 years, during which I have worked with a diverse range of students, from young beginners as young as 6 to adults up to 68 years old. My primary focus is on tailoring my teaching to meet each student's unique needs, ensuring they receive personalized guidance to help them grow and excel in their chess journey.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of coaching students who have reached impressive levels, including national and state championships. This accomplishment underscores my commitment to fostering talent and nurturing a strong foundation in the game. I find immense joy in teaching and am dedicated to helping each student unlock their potential, both on and off the board.

In addition to coaching, I have served as an arbiter in domestic tournaments, bringing a well-rounded perspective to my role as an instructor. I understand the competitive dynamics of chess, which allows me to prepare my students for real-world challenges, from tournament preparation to mental resilience under pressure. My approach combines strategic depth with an emphasis on individual growth, empowering my students to become confident, skilled players.
